Dreaming Freedom
Today, there are 49.6 million people in the world living in modern slavery (1 in 4 are children) that had to give up their hopes and dreams. And now all they dream of is freedom. A culmination of music contributions from 200 collaborators across 30 countries, "Dreaming Freedom" is a short film art installation with a mission to see freedom become a reality for children trapped in modern slavery. The short film installation centers on the real-life recount of Suriya's story, a survivor of modern slavery who was rescued by International Justice Mission (IJM). It is one story, representing the unseen truth: that millions of children live in the shadows of slavery, dreaming of a day they'll find freedom. That's why "Dreaming Freedom" is a sonic anthem and visual emblem with a mission to bring their hopes to light. Funds raised through the "Dreaming Freedom" project will be donated to xPropelr's Impact Partner, IJM's work in the rescue, restoration, protection, and prevention of children trapped in modern slavery.
