Why So Resolute, My Lady?

Donna Vaughn was arranged to marry into the Lord Protector's family by the late emperor. Shortly after, the general's household was massacred. During childbirth, the maid Elaine Young swapped the babies out of jealousy. Donna Vaughn discovered the truth but kept silent, then went to The Heaven Mountains to rescue her daughter. Later, she raised Eva White to become the crown princess, while Elaine Young abused her own biological daughter. During the bridal return visit, Elaine Young exposed the truth, but Donna Vaughn donned her armor and led her old troops to draw her sword against the Lord Protector.
