Into the Abyss

Chloe, a Chinese-American mixed-race girl, lived as a dependent in a conservative, blended white middle-class family, where a forbidden love grew between her and Austin, her stepbrother with no blood relation. At first, Austin approached her out of resentment toward Chloe's mother, feigning deep love while gradually taking control of her. After the truth was exposed, Chloe resolved to go to Paris for her studies and sever all ties.
