She Comes out of the Abyss

At the age of 8, Cen Yuan lost her mother. After her father remarried, he sent her to live with her grandmother in the countryside, leaving her to fend for herself. Fortunately, Cen Yuan grew up with striking beauty and was admitted to a top arts academy, eventually achieving fame as a movie queen. On the night she planned a romantic candlelight dinner to celebrate with her boyfriend and manager, Song Dongyang, she caught him in the act with her stepsister, Cen Huan. It was only then that Cen Yuan realized Song Dongyang had been having an affair with Cen Huan all along. Adding insult to injury, Song Dongyang mocked her humble origins, claiming she could never match Cen Huan’s privileged background.
